Potential for killing Wanderrose aside, if this whole thing ends up implying that Leda’s reason for turning evil is the Traveler leaving, I will be so incredibly upset. Night Swan as a villain deserves a much cooler origin story than “a man left me 😔” and I will be so annoyed if they try to pull that. Give us the crazed, perfection-obsessed Night Swan that was implied in Enter the Danceverses and Dance With the Swan, not a dejected Leda who turns to the dark side because of a failed relationship.

Apparently there’s a Just Dance inktober??

The prompt was robots/aliens. Technically Leda is an alien to the Just Dance universe, so that’s what I’m using to justify this.

If it didn’t put Wanderrose in jeopardy this ship would be so compelling tbh

I think this works as a quote because it's basically a bridge between her two personas. It's Leda acknowledging that her self-image problems are negatively impacting her and she's past the point of no return, but it's also Night Swan announcing her presence and positioning herself as a threat early on.

The Night Swan, aka Leda, is HUMAN LIKE SARA

Which makes Jack half human! Can he leave the Danceverse? Can Leda leave again, or is she stuck? She stayed by choice, apparently judging by the ending of Murder on the Dance Floor

How did she get her powers? Was it from spending too much time in The Travelers' domain and dancing with him? Or was this her destiny, and he knew that?

When do we meet Jack's dad?

I know it's not with The Traveler... at least I don't think

What caused her to turn to the dark side? Her powers were already dark and she had the dark Swan theme when she was brought in

How old is Leda every time we see her?

What does this mean for Sara?!

Also, when was Jack born, and did he have rapid aging like WanderLust did?

So many questions!

Also, since we got that one song that was originally cut about Leda's past, will we get more Jack??? I demand more Jack and WanderLust

Ahem. Leda (aka Night Swan) is named after the Greek myth. In the myth, Leda (Spartan Queen) was seduced and/or r*ped by Zeus in the form of a swan (wink wink) on the same night that she “swiped right” with her husband Tyndareus, King of Sparts. She has 2 children with Zeus (Helen and Polydeuces) and 2 children with Tynder (Castor and Clytemnestra), each pair hatching out of an egg. The story varies, but that’s the basic gist of it.

Night Swan is Leda Box.

The Traveler is Zeus (more like Zip Up Your Pants, my guy).

Vester, Crimson, Orion etc. is Tynder.

Cygnus is both Hen-Laid and Polygamous-Deuce.

Jack is both Cast-Iron and Clit-Menstruation. (I am not sorry for these nicknames.)

If we want to get even crazier with the theory, Cygnus and Sara could be twins, as well as Jack and someone else, maybe Adore You coach. (This makes sense with the new Adore You emote looking like Jack, and Orion potentially being his father.)

Tell me this theory doesn’t work. You can’t.

Unpopular opinions about the new Just Dance mini season;

The Traveler is not a cheater. As young as he looks I'm thinking he hasn't met Si'ha Nova, and it appears he's reaching out and trying to make a connection the same way Wanderlust had with Sara

The Darkest Hour isn't perfect but I think it could've been worse

While it isn't clear why Leda/Night Swan became evil, I think the implied time jump between Murder on the Dance Floor and the Darkest Hour was when she and the Traveler broke up? Leda was already implied to be a ballerina and she has always sought perfect, maybe after a while Traveler decided he couldn't handle it but couldn't force her back home so he just left her to find her own way. (Or him falling in love with Si'ha Nova raised the level for perfection and like... Idk why I think Si'ha Nova was the other woman but if she was a goddess that's not helping the Leda and the Swan allusions)

The Darkest Hour shows how Leda was corrupted into Night Swan, so instead of Jack Swan being Traveler's son perhaps he's some sort of immaculate manifestation of Dark Flow? I just don't think he looks like the Traveler and I believe that with the drastic design change between songs they'd already broken up and she was trying to cope with her grief (cutting her hair, wandering the dance verse and happening up on an empty warehouse, etc)

I could be very wrong and delusional but I kinda hope I'm not at least on the last one. Otherwise that's a funny overlap between Just Dance Lore fans and VC Andrews
